Dell’s new multitouch Inspiron 17 Touch
There have been many new laptops in the market running Windows 7, but the support for touch screen has been less. This week, Dell has met multi touch, Windows 7, and a big display, with the introduction of the Inspiron 17 Touch.
The Inspiron 17 Touch has a display capable of four-touch allowing you to do pinch, drag, rotate, and flick gestures. Dell has also included a number of its own touch screen application including Dell Touch Zone. Which allow you to draw, paint, resize and flick through photos, organize a play list, and play some games.
Its cost starts at $899 for a Pentium Dual Core T4300, 3GB of RAM, 250GB HDD, Intel 4500MHD graphics, with a DVD burner. To personalize and make it a much more powerful machine, you will be needed over a thousand dollars. In a few weeks, Core i7 options will be available.
