Apple’s iPhone accounts for 50% of mobile traffic across the globe
Since the release of Apple’s iPhone, there have been a lot of praise and a lot of criticism, regardless of this, it has grown faster than a large amount of competitors. AdMob states that the Appleās iPhone accounts for 50% of mobile traffic across the globe.
According to Apple insider report, the AdMob data shows that Google’s Android is the only other platform which has grown in usage over the last month. Windows Mobile, Symbian, and the Black Berry have dropped in usage, with Android and the iPhone taking the losses. The Symbian accounted for 25% of all mobile traffic, with Android following at 11%, then BlackBerry on 7% and Windows Mobile at 3%, for the month of October.
Now that there are many more Android phones coming out on the market, It’ll be quit interesting to see how the coming months progress with wider OS adoption of new platforms and new devices released, and especially if whether or not Apple can keep up the lead in that regard.
